GATE 2014 Exam Eligibility :- The following categories of contenders qualify to appear in GATE:

He/ She should be considered a Bachelor degree holder with Technology/ Architecture (4 years after 10+2)/ Engineering/ Submit B. Sc. / Submit diploma
Master of Computer application and those who are in the final season of such programs.
Master degree holders in any division of Science/ Statistics/ Mathematics/ Computer Applications or correspondent and those who are in the Final season or Pre-final year students will not be qualified.

Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) is usually an all India examination that primarily tests a comprehensive understanding of various basic subjects in Engineering as well as Technology. The GATE score of a candidate reflects a relative performance level in a very particular paper in the exam across several years. The score is useful for admissions to post-graduate executive programs (Ex. M. Electronic., M. Tech, direct PhD. ) in Indian higher education institutes with financial assistance supplied by MHRD and other Federal government agencies. The score doubles by Public sector units for employment screening requirements.

The next categories of candidates are eligible to appear in ENTRANCE:

• Bachelor’s degree holders in Engineering/ Technology/ Architecture (4 a long time after 10+2/ Post-B. South Carolina. / Post-Diploma) and those who're in the final 12 months of such programs.

• Candidates with qualifications received through examinations conducted by professional societies identified by UPSC/AICTE (e. g. AMIE simply by IE(i), AMICE(i) by the initiate of Civil Engineers (India)-ICE(i)) as comparable to B. E. /B. Technology.
